One By One is No.1, More Radio and Free Track Giveaway!

New Single is THE NO.1 most demanded track on one of N.Ireland’s biggest Stations Cool Fm!

It’s been just over a week since The Beat Poets new single came out and reaction here in Ireland has been fantastic! The track is now entering its 3^rd playlist week on Northern Ireland’s biggest station Cool Fm. Over the last week the track has been in the top 5 most demanded songs on the station and on May 12^th captured the No.1 spot ahead of acts such as Lady Ga Ga. Poets Live on RTE RADIO 1’s Arena Show

On May 6^th the Poets did an exclusive interview on the formation of the band, why they chose the name and their influences including how 2010 is progressing. The band also did an exclusive acoustic version of a brand new track ‘Gravity’ to check it out visit: www.rte.ie/radio1/arena

The Beat Poets have announced a new hometown show on Saturday the 3^rd of July, support will include NO MEAN CITY and STEREOWAR FAVOURITES. Doors open at 9pm and admission is £5.00

Scratch My Music!

On Tuesday the 8^th June the band will do an intimate appearance at the Oh Yeah Centre (Gordon Street, Belfast) as part of the PRS foundations ‘Scratch My Music’. The band will play several acoustic songs discussing how each song was developed and also revealing some stories from the studio and how tracks have changed as the band went through the recording process.
